Get your feet on the grass and have some fun in the sun with barefoot bowls. It’s lawn bowls gone casual and just the thing to do on a Sunday afternoon, or any time you’ve got a couple of friends together. Merthyr Bowls Club at New Farm led the growth in popularity of the game for Brisbane’s young set but now you’ll find barefoot bowls action at most bowling clubs across the city including Belmont Services Bowls Club.

The dress code is as relaxed as the atmosphere and you don’t need a lot of experience to have fun with the game. There are usually friendly experts at the club who are keen to help you improve. There is a modest charge to use the facilities and equipment . It will also only cost you a few dollars for cheap drinks and food.
 

Barefoot Bowls will now be held EVERY SUNDAY from the 3rd September 2006  starting at 1pm, finishing 4pm. Please phone the Club on 3398-1551 to Book     Or complete the online Registration Form below  which will be e-mailed to the Club.

The cost for the Afternoon is $5.00 per Adult, with children 10-15 FREE

Meals can be provided by prior arrangement with the club
